Elect Curtis Beebe, Commissioner, Group 3
Curtis Beebe is a Florida native, a product of public schools and a graduate of The University of West Florida in Pensacola. He and his wife of 22 years, Rebecca, moved to Dade City from Tampa in 1998. Rebecca teaches fifth grade at Pasco Elementary School. They have three teenaged sons: Hunter, Jackson, and Stuart.
Curtis began his technology career in 1983, working full time at Martin Marietta Data Systems while attending college. Since then he has been an independent consultant, spent nearly ten years with Price Waterhouse, started companies, sold companies, and led teams of over a hundred professionals. He is currently employed by I.B.I.S., Inc., a Norcross, GA, Microsoft partner and is charged with developing a Florida practice for this rapid-growth, highly successful organization.
Curtis is the Vice-Chairman of the Dade City Planning Board and a member of the Citizen's Land Development Code Review Committee. In 2006 he led the revitalization of Church Street Christmas and, in 2007, was elected as the Chairman of the Committee to Recall Commissioner Hernandez.
